The short version
- Give true information, and only claim work you did.
- Never ask anyone for money, bank details, a BVN or a NIN.
- Employers pay per conversation, and the credit comes back if there is no reply in 14 days.
- Verification is never for sale.
Who can use NITACON
Students and recent graduates looking for work in Nigeria, and people hiring on behalf of a real organisation. You must be at least 18 and give true information about yourself.
Rules for everyone
- No asking anyone for money, bank details, a BVN or a NIN.
- No harassment, and no misleading anyone about a job or about yourself.
- No copying, scraping or bulk-collecting profiles or messages.
- Only claim work you did. Verification tells employers what was checked; do not try to game it.
For employers
- Opening a conversation uses one contact credit. If the candidate has not replied within 14 days, it is refunded automatically. A conversation you close yourself is not refunded.
- A credit buys a conversation, not a candidate’s contact details. Those are shared only if the candidate accepts.
- Plans are paid in advance for a fixed term and do not renew automatically. At the end of the term your account returns to the Free plan; credits already granted stay.
- Verification is never for sale. No plan or purchase grants the verified badge.
- Candidate data you receive may be used only to consider that person for work.
Reports and suspension
Anyone can report a conversation. If reports against an employer are upheld, their outreach is paused while we review. We may suspend or close any account that breaks these rules.
Your content
You own what you add to NITACON. You let us show it to the people described in the privacy notice, for as long as your account is active.
Our responsibility
NITACON checks the specific things it says it has checked, and nothing more. We do not guarantee any job, candidate or employer, and we are not a party to any employment agreement made through the platform.
